Backfilling

The BlueDuct HVAC lines were inspected and passed, so the excavation team began the process of preparing for the concrete subcontractor's slab pour next week. Using a mini bobcat and a series of conveyor belts, the excavators moved fill over the stem walls and then spread it manually up to the level of the BlueDuct. A layer of gravel, then rigid insulation board, comes next. Conduit will be installed east-west within the gravel to provide a pathway to run electric and data lines from one side of the house to the other and also out to the generator and other landscape features.
