While the finishing details are being implemented upstairs, the first floor continues to look like a construction site, primarily because the ceiling work has been holding many things up. But finally... the 16' French Oak beams have been delivered to Connecticut months after leaving France. The team has been working almost 'round the clock to get them installed... and now they are mostly been done in the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Things should start moving more quickly now.

Note that the replacement (and missing) glass for the sliders has not yet completed its journey, which explains the plastic sheets and the lack of a view.
