The rough-in mechanical inspection is scheduled for July 17 so the race is on to get HVAC, electric, plumbing, alarm, and audio/visual components in the walls and ceilings. The HVAC contractor has run its wet lines to/from the mechanical room boilers and the roof-top condenser locations; work continues on air ducts. Plumbers have drains and vents installed and are working on hot, cold, and recirc lines. Electricians and A/V team are getting their panels installed and configured, while struggling to find pathways through and around the steel structure to get wires and cables where they need them. Alarm contractor starts next week. Lots to do, but trying hard to hold the date.
All Pex plumbing, all laminated beam floor joists. State of the art. Floors will feel extremely solid. You can have a gym on the second floor. This is really going to be some house!
