There were questions regarding the sight-lines and dimensions of the steel lift-and-slides in the dining room... so a full-scale wood mock-up was built and put in place. The steel window/door manufacturer has confirmed the slider stiles and rails can be reduced to a 3-1/32" width, as shown.
